CHINOZ ON THE PARK @ KLCC

AFTERNOON TEA or LATE LUNCH with FAMILY

Saturday as usual spending time with my aunt them for a weekend afternoon tea. At first we thought Chinoz have the afternoon tea but unfortunately they don't have but we still decided to go for it. It was located right in front of Dome. The food overall was delicious but very less choices. The dessert well present and taste pretty good. The environment pretty good to chill or dinner.

Latte RM 13

Mocha RM 15
Like the mocha taste.

BLT Sandwish RM 32
Turkey ham very good in taste. This comes pair with the chips but the chips not really taste good. Overall still good.

Vongole RM 35
Pasta comes with clams cook with white wine. As stated it contain alcohol. Not very worth for the price paid as many other place offers another type of clams that bigger and fresher.

Seafood Laksa Spaghetti RM 48Spaghetti cook with laksa big prawn, mussel and clams. This is consider quite pricey as the taste not really satisfied for a spicy lover like me. It suit for those who like laksa but not spicy. Overall still okay.

Kids Meal Hot Dog RM 15 (free)
As many restaurant nowadays have kids eat for free on weekends so do here. We didn't knew it until we paid for the bill. It is really worth if bring kids a long.

Kids meal Fish Finger RM 16 (free)
Taste good.

Rainbow Cake RM 12
Won't taste very sweet and not bad worth for a try. Normal price for a cake nowadays. This is one of their cakes of the day.

Peanuts Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream RM 20It would definitely taste great for a chocolate lover and well presented in a way. The ice cream was very pure chocolate won't too sweet comes with a little bits of bitter taste. I would surely be back just for this. Cake was soft and taste a bit bitter too.

Lemon Meringue Pie with Strawberry Ice Cream  RM 20
I doesn't really know the taste but my sister loves it. Well present.

Walnut Pie Sundae RM 20
Here comes my dessert after meal. Strawberry wasn't sour comes with vanilla and strawberry ice cream so it brings sweet and sour taste. It also comes in blended banana and walnut at the bottom which I like the walnut but not the blended banana. Overall still taste nice but couldn't really finish it. It can be share for two person.

Casual OOTD. Top and bottom from Zara pairs with my Birken.

Teluk Pulai (Claypot) Ba Kut Teh @ Klang

Famous Ba Kut Teh in Klang

In my lists, this is consider the nicest Ba Kut Teh I had tasted so far. I had went for many times where this has been my family favorite place for lunch during weekend. It was very crowded during weekend. The pork ribs normally finish after 12pm so ended up we always order others. This place were suit for those who like heavy ba kut teh soup taste instead of lighter taste. Here goes the pictures.

Even the soup got the vegetables in it.

The pork

"Yat zhi guat" for two person portion

One person portion Dry Ba Kut Teh
This is really very delicious!

The very fresh and delicious vegetable

Overall

"Cha Wong"
Nice tea.
The price was RM 12 for one person portion for all type pork. This Ba Kut Teh  is consider a very good quality with delicious taste and not consider expensive. This is why even normal weekdays there are a lot of customers. The place was not consider small but normally we have to wait for the place since there are a lot of people.

New Shanghai @ Pavilion

       Dim Sum for Afternoon Tea

A great day for afternoon tea after facial. Seriously, doesn't know what to eat after all there are so many choices. Passing through the Ying Ker Lou and saw this New Shanghai which I wanted to try long time ago finally, chose this restaurant which sells all day long dim sum. It was located same floor with the Food Republic, at the front of the Merchato supermarket of pavilion at the end corner after the Ying Ker Lou.

Choices of fried dim sum

Interior

Pot of Tea RM 15

Dim Sum Tower Set
This set costs RM 16.80 per pax available during all day long if not mistaken. During 3-6pm there is 30% off which means RM 11.80 per person. We went in during this hour so we get 30% off for two person and the price for two person was RM  23.50. This set does not include any beverages. For two person this set is already full enough without needed to order any more additional dim sum.

First layer, was the malay kuih which they mention in the menu chocolate cake and char siew bun.

Second layer, was the fish cake and spring roll. The spring roll taste so so only. The fish cake was nice.

I can't really remember the name of this dim sum but inside contain prawn and some vegetable sort of things with Thai sauce. The taste was so so only. We didn't manage to finish this.

The last layer was the prawn dumpling and sharkfin dumpling. The prawn dumpling was pretty good the sharkfin one was not bad.

Porridge included in the tower set. The porridge was quite big bowl and full enough for two person tummy.

There are chicken and century egg congee inside the porridge.

Shanghai Style Mini Egg Tart RM 1.80
Taste good.

Fried Fish Ball RM 5.80
If they fried it without steaming it again the taste would be much more better.

Abalone Xiao Mai RM 13.80
A bit over pricing for this dim sum but taste good.

Overall impression quite expensive which I rather choose Restaurant Chuai Heng @ Jalan Imbi same row with Renoma Cafe Gallery for their dim sum with almost same price with this or higher and more choices. Ying Ker Lou did also have promotion during daily 3-6pm with low costs of RM 3 start for their dim sum and others food.
